Excitement is landing at Roy Danuser City Park! The Bull Shoals Chamber and the City are teaming up to bring an 18 hole disc golf course to our backyard, providing a free, family-friendly outdoor activity for residents and visitors alike. To complete the project, we need your help. Whether through a hole sponsorship , a material donation , or volunteering your time , your contribution ensures this course becomes a staple of our community for years to come. Where is the Disc Golf Course?

Roy Danuser City Park is now the home to an 18-hole disc golf course!

What we need to get this project "in the basket":

Donations of Materials:

riding mowers
weed eaters
lawn wagons
wood chippers
chainsaws
retaining wall blocks
concrete pavers
landscape timbers
rebar stakes

Some materials can be donated used. If you can't use it, maybe we can!

Donations of Funds to Support the Course and Promote Your Business:

HOLE IN ONE - 1 Hole Sponsor + Bench Sponsor + Map Spot: $1000
2 Hole Sponsorships OR Spot on Large Map Sign: $750
Hole Sponsor & Bench Sponsor: $500
Hole Sponsor/Tee Marker: $350/first year, $50 each following year if you wish to continue sponsoring that hole.
Bench Sponsor: $250/first year, $50 each following year if you wish to continue sponsoring that bench.
General Support: Any amount is appreciated

Bootlegger's Hideaway - Dinner Party with Dancing, Murder Mystery: A Play in Three Acts, and Live Music by the MelodaJazz Band , plus a Silent Auction offering a chance to bid on amazing packages from our local businesses.

Join us for a fun evening! Meet people in the community! Help raise funds to promote businesses in the area.

Tickets: $40 per person or $75 per couple in advance

The doors will open at 5pm with dinner catered by 178 Club starting at 5:30pm.

The VFW bartender will have a bar set up in the hall for drinks.

Silent Auction, Music, Dancing and Murder Mystery Entertainment until 8pm.

July 4th - Independence Day Fireworks Show on Bull Shoals Lake

Fireworks at dark!!

Bring your water, lawn chairs and picnic blankets! (Probably bug spray too!) Best places to see the show are at the Gaston's Visitor Center Overlook at the Bull Shoals Dam, on the Lakeview side of the Dam at the park, and at the bottom of the Dam. If you have a boat, then anchor out on the lake or park on the White River to get a nice view. The show will begin after dark.

Keep in mind that we expect an increased number of spectators this year and there will be a lot of traffic. Be patient, courteous and understanding. You may have to walk a good ways to get a good place to sit as well. It will be well worth it! We all look forward to seeing the community gather!

Be sure to visit the restaurants and merchants in the area when visiting!

Do you make the kind of chili that clears the room—in a good way? Is your pulled pork the stuff legends are made of? Maybe your cornbread, cobbler, casseroles, or sweet treats always have friends and family coming back for seconds. If so, the Big Dam Food Fight is calling your name!

Hosted by the Bull Shoals Chamber of Commerce and located down the road from the iconic Bull Shoals Dam at Dam Site Park/Campground , this deliciously fun competition is your chance to show off your culinary skills, win bragging rights, and take home cash prizes . From savory to sweet, locals and visitors alike will be bringing their best dishes to the table—and only the tastiest will triumph.

Whether you’re cooking, cheering, or just coming to taste, the Big Dam Food Fight promises bold flavors, friendly competition, and a Big Dam good time.

Jingle Bell Jackpot 50/50 TICKETS ON SALE NOW to be drawn by Santa himself on December 13th, at the VFW Children’s Christmas Party! 50% of the ticket sales go to “lite up” someone’s Christmas and 50% goes toward our Chamber for continued operation. We have a large goal in mind, and we are off to a good start already.

Lite up the Nite at Dam Site

At the end of November, at Bull Shoals Dam Site Park, businesses and individuals can choose a spot to decorate for Christmas! “Lite Up the Nite at Dam Site”, sign up will start NOV 10th .

Dam Site Park will be open for drive thru tours Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings in December from 5:00 to 8:00pm.

Lite up the Nite Christmas Parade & Tree Lighting - Dec 5

Let's light up the night to celebrate the season!

Businesses, organizations, boats, bikes, bicycles, ATV's, classic cars, churches, individuals...come one and all to join us for this parade! Line-up at 5pm. Parade starts at 6pm.

The theme is LIGHT! Get creative to see how your float can shine!

The Tree of Lights will be lit at 5:30 p.m. at the Kirby & Family Funeral Home lawn with Christmas Carols and Hot Cocoa provided by First Baptist Church of Bull Shoals!

You can be at the tree lighting and still watch the parade! Merry Christmas!

After the Parade, head over to the Bull Shoals Theater of the arts for Table Worship Band 7 to 9 pm!

Christmas Lights Contest

The Bull Shoals Lake White River Chamber of Commerce would like to invite you to enter the Christmas Lights Contest for residents and business of Bull Shoals and Lakeview!

First Place in Bull Shoals, and 1st Place in Lakeview will be awarded in residential and commercial categories. Prize packages will be given to winners in each category.

*The entry period has ended, and the judging is about to begin! Please have your lights on by 5pm on December 16th.
