Internet Use Policy
The
Bull Shoals Lake - White River Chamber of Commerce has provided an Internet-equipped
computer in the organization's office for the use of: 1.) Members and
2.) Public. The Bull Shoals Lake - White River Chamber of Commerce-provided
Internet service is first and foremost a service to members of the chamber
who would benefit from it. We also believe it can be a practical research/reference
tool for visitors to our area to learn about the area and business services
our member businesses offer.
The following guidelines will apply to
those using the Bull Shoals Lake - White River Chamber of Commerce-provided
Internet service:
- Those using the Internet must sign
in and acknowledge having read a copy of the Internet kiosk use
policy before beginning.
- Only those 16 and older may use the
kiosk.
- The time limit is 30 minutes per
visit.
- Printing charges are 10 cents/page,
provided, however, that the first page (1) is free.
- Downloading is permitted only on
disks purchased at the Chamber office for 50 cents each.
- E-mailing is permitted using the
chamber e-mail account. Chamber staff will not print out e-mail.
Fees for e-mail printed out by the user will be collected according
to the policy above.
- Transmission of obscene materials
is prohibited.
- Internet access furnished by the
Bull Shoals Lake - White River Chamber of Commerce must not be
used for financial gain, commercial activity, or any illegal activity.
- Users of the Internet are asked to
be courteous to others in the chamber offices, and to supervise
children accompanying them while inside the building or outside
on Chamber property.
